Chris Nolan

Owner & Head Technician

Chris Nolan has nearly 30 years’ experience under his belt with a vast knowledge of all makes and models with a speciality in German vehicles, and is now an IMI Certified Automotive Engineer.

Chris served his apprenticeship in Renault main dealer, Clontarf Motors, in 1991 before going to work as a technician in the Joe Duffy BMW dealership for a few years where he really started to ply his trade. He gained a good reputation within the North County Dublin motor trade before taking up foreman roles in Nissan & Toyota dealerships. He also worked as a technician at a VAG service specialist (VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda). Following that, he worked at a high-performance car dealership, working on high-end vehicles (Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Bentley, Mercedes, BMW, Audi).

He later opened his own workshop, specialising in BMW and other German cars but, due to unforeseen circumstances, had to take a step back and some time off from being self-employed. He was offered a job as a mechanic in a local garage in Balbriggan belonging to a friend who was working on a lot of German cars, his speciality. He worked there for a couple of years and then had the opportunity to buy the business, formally AC Autos, now Nolan Motors.

David Nolan

Master Technician

David (Chris’s brother) is a fully qualified tech and Master Technician with over 20 years’ experience coming from dealerships and experience on SEAT, VW, Hyundai, and Alfa Romeo, to name a few. He is Hybrid and EV level 3 qualified and is an expert in vehicle diagnostic systems.

Frank Nolan

Technician

SNR tech with nearly 30 years’ experience in the motor trade, with experience on a wide range of vehicles having worked at another independent garage for over 20 years.

He is a major asset to Nolan Motors and is a very skilled tech.

Cian Nolan

Technician

Cian Nolan is a newly qualified tech having serviced over 4 years here in Nolan Motors under the vigilant eye of his father & owner, Chris Nolan. Cian is a promising young tech with a bright future ahead and will start training as an IMI diagnostic tech.

Caroline Nolan

Service Advisor

Caroline Nolan (Chris’s sister) is our service advisor and has been working here at Nolan Motors for over 5 years.  Caroline is in charge of the office and accounts and is a valuable member of staff.

Owen Everard

Technician

Owen is a newly quailifed tech with experience on Land Rover and Skoda.  He is a talented young tech who is passionate about his work.
